Nikwax TX.Direct® Spray-On is the quick, easy way to restore and enhance the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of your waterproof gear no heat required. Its advanced formula develops full repellency as it air dries, saving energy and protecting older or delicate garments from tumble-dryer damage.

Specifically optimized for breathable waterproof fabrics, TX.Direct® Spray-On leaves a flexible, water-repellent coating on individual fibers, allowing moisture vapor to pass through so your gear stays breathable. The convenient spray-on application targets high-wear areas such as seams, shoulders, and elbows without affecting the wicking performance of inner linings.

Over time, dirt, wear, and washing can cause your jacket’s outer fabric to absorb water, reducing breathability by up to 70%. To stay dry and comfortable, your DWR must be regularly maintained. Start by cleaning with Nikwax Tech Wash® if your gear is newer or recently reproofed, this may be enough to reactivate the DWR. When water no longer beads on the surface, follow up with Nikwax TX.Direct® to renew protection.

If your rainwear does not have a wicking liner, use Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In instead for full, even coverage and easy application in a washing machine.
