MUSTAD SLOW DEATH ABERDEEN HOOK #2 BENT SHANK - RED

The Slow Death® Aberdeen Hook features a specialized Aberdeen-style design with a kinked shank that, when threaded with half a nightcrawler or earthworm and trolled slowly, produces a wild, intense corkscrew action. This unique design allows you to reach cracks, crevices, and tight spots that faster blade presentations typically skip, making it ideal for precise, enticing bait presentation.

Setup Instructions:

1. Attach a bottom-bouncer weight to your main line.

2. Tie a 48" (122 cm) mono or fluorocarbon leader to the bottom of the bottom-bouncer.

3. Thread half a nightcrawler or earthworm along the hook shank and over the hook eye, leaving up to 1/2" (1.5 cm) hanging off the hook.

4. Row or use a trolling motor at speeds from 1 mph / 1 kn to nearly stationary, keeping just enough motion to spin the crawler.
