The KARASHI 80 builds on the legendary performance of the original 59mm model, delivering the same versatile action in a larger, more powerful profile designed to attract bigger, more aggressive predators. Developed using Yuki Ito's advanced hydrodynamic expertise, this premium Japanese topwater lure offers exceptional versatility with multiple fish-catching retrieves.

Retrieve the KARASHI 80 quickly with subtle upward rod twitches to create frantic baitfish-imitating surface action, walk it effortlessly across the surface with classic "walk-the-dog" movements, or work it just below the surface using twitch-walking techniques. A slow, steady retrieve also produces an irresistible finesse i-motion that excels when fish are pressured or reluctant to strike.

Its extended darting action and highly responsive design trigger reaction bites from fish that often follow other lures without committing. Whether targeting largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, or other freshwater predators, the KARASHI 80 has the unique ability to turn hesitant followers into aggressive biters. Combining innovative Japanese engineering with unmatched versatility, the KARASHI 80 represents a new generation of high-performance walking baits built to consistently produce strikes. 80mm in length.
  • I-Motion – employ a super-slow retrieve just fast enough to keep the target depth range. The defenseless wobbling action evokes injured bait, triggering bites from opportunistic feeders.
  • Twitching – work in a twitch of the rod to set the KARASHI darting sub-surface, exhibiting an agile dart that triggers reaction bites from followers.
  • Dog-walk – a rhythmic twitch on the surface will deliver an irresistibly smooth dog-walking action. Pauses will allow the KARASHI to slow-sink and then walk its way back to the surface like a baitfish rising to escape.
  • Bait-busting – with fast, upwards twitches of the rod and a speedy retrieve, the KARASHI walks, splashes and leaps along the surface like fleeing baitfish, triggering devastating strikes from aggressive feeders.
