REX WAX BLUE SPECIAL KICK

This high-performance kick wax from Rex, known as Blue Special (Item 120), is tailored for mild frost conditions, with an effective temperature range around –1 °C to –4 °C. 
It is slightly softer and more grip-oriented than the standard Blue (Item 115) wax, making it especially suitable for worn tracks or hard surfaces that require more “bite”. 

Use-case & application

• Ideal for milder cold conditions when newer snow begins to transform and the track surface is less pristine.

• Because it offers enhanced grip, it can be used either on its own or as a top-layer over another wax when needing extra hold.

• As with other kick waxes, base preparation is critical: roughen and clean the kick zone, apply base wax if needed, then apply the grip wax in thin, even layers depending on the snow and temperature.
