Designed for cooler temperatures, the R2 TechFace Pants are a versatile mid‑weight layer suitable for use under waders or for relaxed post‑fish downtime. They feature a grid‑fleece interior for warmth, abrasion‑resistant overlays, a water‑shedding durable water‑repellent (DWR) finish, and tapered ankle cuffs for easy on/off and a secure fit. The inseam length is 30". Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory. 

Key Features & Specs

  • Fabric Details: Warm, stretchy recycled fabric combined with abrasion‑resistant overlays, all treated with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS. 

  • Reinforced for Durability: Four‑way‑stretch overlay material at the waistband, seat and leg openings to increase durability, abrasion resistance and moisture‑wicking in high‑wear areas.

  • Fit Details: Regular‑fit pants with tapered legs that slide easily into waders and resist bunching or riding up; stretchy cuffs that fit under or over thicker socks to minimise bulk. 

  • Waistband & Closure: Corrosion‑resistant zip fly with button closure, plus a drawcord for an adjustable, secure fit.

  • Pockets: Two drop‑in hand‑warmer pockets sized to hold small essentials such as a fly box, with enough depth to prevent items from escaping. 

  • Inseam: 30". 

  • Ethical Manufacturing: Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, ensuring the people who made the product earned a premium for their labour. 

Materials

  • Body Fabric: 6.8‑oz 93% recycled polyester / 7% spandex (piece‑dyed), or for the black colour variant: 7.9‑oz 92% recycled polyester / 8% spandex (solution‑dyed). Both are R2® TechFace breathable stretch double‑weave fabrics, treated with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS. 

  • Overlay Panels: 3.9‑oz 86% recycled polyester (certified by OceanCycle and sourced from coastal communities at risk of plastic pollution) / 14% spandex stretch plain weave; also with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS. Fabrics certified bluesign®. 

  • Country of Origin: Made in Vietnam.
