Ropeman 4 Ascender – Advanced Design, Maximum Versatility
The Ropeman 4 is the next-generation evolution of the original Wild Country ascender, engineered for climbers who demand performance and reliability. Built for a wide range of technical climbing applications—including emergency and self-rescue, ascending, self-belay, and lanyard positioning—this compact rope clamp delivers safety and efficiency in every situation.
A newly designed grooved side plate closure system locks directly into the cylinder, preventing lateral opening and virtually eliminating the chance of rope entanglement. The Ropeman 4’s lightweight yet durable aluminum alloy construction makes it easy to carry without compromising strength.
Designed for versatility, it works with 8–13mm ropes (EN 892 compliant), both flat and tubular webbing slings, and integrates smoothly with HMS and oval carabiners (EN 12275). The large cylinder hole allows full rotation around the carabiner, making it ideal for dynamic use in the field.
For added handling safety, the stainless-steel wire leash is protected by a tough plastic sheath and rated to 2kN, offering extra durability and control during climbs.
Whether you're heading up a rope or managing a technical rescue, the Ropeman 4 is your go-to tool for precision and peace of mind.
