The Brahma 82 is the "versatile sibling" of the legendary Brahma 88, designed for skiers who want a powerful, frontside-leaning tool that doesn't feel like a chore in variable terrain. It balances a "strong at heart" construction capable of holding an edge on bulletproof ice with an "easygoing attitude" that allows for playful cruising when you aren’t trying to break a speed record.

Key Performance Features:

  • Trueblend All-Mountain Woodcore: This sophisticated core uses different densities of wood stringers (Poplar and Beech) positioned specifically to control flex. It is stiffest underfoot for stability and power, while the tips and tails are tuned to be more accessible and forgiving, making turn entry and exit feel intuitive rather than aggressive.
  • Flipcore Technology: Blizzard’s signature construction process where the wood core is placed into the mold upside down to follow the ski's natural rocker shape. This results in a ski that feels "broken in" and smooth from day one, offering incredible pressure distribution and a calm ride.
  • 82mm Waist Width: This narrow profile makes the Brahma 82 exceptionally quick from edge to edge. It is optimized for the frontside of the mountain, providing a "surgical" feel on groomed runs while still offering enough width to handle the occasional dip into the trees or bumps.
  • Double Titanal (Ti) Laminate: Despite its easier-going flex compared to race-specific skis, it still features two sheets of metal. This provides the dampening needed to crush through "chatter" and vibrations on firm morning corduroy.
  • Versatile Rocker-Camber-Rocker: Unlike a full camber race ski, the Brahma 82 features slight tip and tail rocker. This allows the ski to pivot easily in tight spots (like moguls) without sacrificing the rock-solid edge hold of the camber underfoot.
