The Fischer Ranger 90 is the precision-focused member of the redesigned Ranger family. While its wider siblings (the 102 and 108) lean into deep powder and surfy maneuvers, the 90 is built to be the ultimate "daily driver" for resort skiers. It bridges the gap between a dedicated carving ski and a freeride tool, offering enough edge grip for icy mornings and enough tip rocker to handle afternoon slush or light trees.

This model is sold "Flat," meaning it does not come with integrated bindings, allowing you to mount your preferred choice (such as the Attack 14 or a Warden 11) to better suit your weight and style.

Key Features:

  • Shaped Ti 0.5: A Titanal (metal) inlay that is specifically tailored to the ski's width. In the 90, the metal is more prominent than in the wider versions, providing the torsional rigidity and dampness required for high-speed stability on hardpack.
  • Flex-Cut: Located in the center of the Titanal inlay, this cut-out allows the ski to flex more naturally and intuitively. It prevents the ski from feeling like a "stiff plank," making it much easier to manage in moguls or tight terrain.
  • Poplar Wood Core: A balanced wood core that delivers a lively, energetic feel. It provides the "pop" out of a turn that makes groomed runs exciting while keeping the overall weight low for maneuverability.
  • 90mm Waist Width: Perfectly sized for the skier who spends the majority of their time on-trail but wants the freedom to duck into the woods or handle a 4-inch powder day without sinking.
  • Freeski Rocker: Features a significant amount of tip rocker and a subtle tail rocker. This profile makes turn initiation effortless and allows the ski to pivot easily in variable snow conditions.
  • Sandwich Sidewall Construction: Full vertical sidewalls provide maximum power transmission to the edges. This is what gives the Ranger 90 its "bite" when you lay it over on firm snow.
  • Sintered Base: A high-speed base with excellent wax-holding properties, ensuring you don't lose momentum on traverses or flatter sections of the mountain.
