The RIO Pike/Musky Magnum Leader is a purpose built tapered leader designed specifically for pursuing large toothy freshwater predators. It combines stiff nylon construction with a bite proof wire shock tippet to stand up to sharp teeth and rugged conditions when targeting pike and musky.
- Constructed from ultra stiff nylon connected to a tough knottable wire shock tippet for maximum bite resistance.
- Measures four and one half feet in length with a thirty pound breaking strength in the nylon section and forty pound strength in the wire section.
- Hand tied perfection loop at the butt end allows fast and secure connection to fly line without difficult knot tying.
- Features a twist clip at the terminal end for fast and easy fly changes without retying.
- Designed specifically for use with large flies and fast sinking lines where heavy duty strength and short stout profile are preferred.
- Clear nylon coated wire remains inconspicuous in the water while delivering exceptional abrasion resistance.
- Hand assembled and tested for consistent strength and reliable performance on every fishing trip.
