Shipping & Receiving Assistant Manager - Full Time

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with vendors and customers daily.
  • Be expected to work 8am-5pm on site, Monday-Friday.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace, with an emphasis on detail.
  • Process merchandise in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Be expected to meet assigned targets/goals.
  • Need to learn and understand Joe’s Sporting Goods in all departments.
  • Utilize our database, CounterPoint, to process products.
  • Handle customer and store warranties.

Skills:

  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player and have the ability of meeting assigned targets/goals.
  • Self-motivated individuals with strong organizational skills, work well under pressure, and understand deadlines.
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.

Requirements:

  • 1 or more years of experience in logistics.
  • Experience in cashiering preferred
  • Willing and able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

Education:

  • High school, college preferred. 
  • Training will be provided
